Spring Music Sessions Strike a Chord With Homeowners

Marino Strings play during our Spring Sessions
Spring Music Sessions – Looking Back

Elegant yet relaxed, Castle View’s first Spring Music Sessions have proved to be an absolute joy and a huge success for homeowners and their guests.

Held in the intimate setting of the Castle View’s Bistro and Bar, the  performances brought a colourful mix of musical talent and genres right to the heart of the community.

Across the series, audiences enjoyed an impressive line-up of live music. Singer Jessica Duncan opened the Sessions with a beautiful programme of songs from the musicals, followed by saxophonist and clarinettist Jon Woodhouse, who shared a melodic selection of favourites. U3A ukulele band “The Merry Ukes of Windsor” filled the lounge with feel-good, singalong energy, before string quartet “Marino Strings” closed the series with an elegant evening of classical pieces, film themes and popular tunes.

Each performer not only delighted listeners with their music, but also took the time to share stories about their pieces and answer questions from the floor, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. Homeowners particularly enjoyed being able to sit back with drinks and nibbles, in the comfort of their own home, while experiencing this calibre of live performance just a few steps away.

Following the success of this year’s programme, Castle View is already looking forward to planning future Spring Music Sessions and exploring new ways to bring more live music and memorable moments to the community.
