Apartments are sold on a long leasehold basis – 250 years from and including 1st November 2018.
Apartments can be reserved on payment of a £2,500 deposit. We can also help get you moving within 8 weeks through our property exchange service, in association with Silverbridge Properties. Please speak to a member of the sales team for more details.
If you decide to withdraw your reservation outside our cooling-off period of fourteen days, prior to exchange of sale contract, we reserve the right to retain an amount to cover any reasonable costs incurred up to a maximum value of £500. If the sale proceeds, the fee will be deducted from the final purchase price.
You are responsible for paying your own legal and moving costs, and any Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) that may be due.
What Community Fees do I have to pay?
We offer all homeowners at Castle View a high standard of living, quality communal facilities, excellent levels of service and financial peace of mind.
We have two separate community fees; one is paid monthly whilst you are a homeowner, the other deferred until you sell your property.
These fees ensure cover all the ongoing costs of running Castle View and the expense of any works required to maintain the property.
All homeowners pay a monthly Community Fee to cover delivery of key services (in the short term) such as:

The deferred community fee covers the long-term aspects of caring for the building and is a fee payable from the sale or transfer of ownership of your property.
By deferring these costs, we can keep our monthly Community Fees as low as possible whilst meeting the high-quality standards we set in maintenance and refurbishment, supporting resale values. This fee also covers our marketing and estate agency costs where we act on your behalf when selling your property at Castle View.
The deferred community fee is calculated at 4% per year of ownership at the open market value at the time the property is offered for sale. The fee is capped to a maximum of 20% after a 5 year period and does not rise further.

Car parking spaces in our secure underground car park can be purchased (one space per apartment).
These can be sold at any time, independently of when the apartment is sold. The car park is secured by a shutter, cameras and has lift access direct to each floor.
