Seasonal Windsor outings

Windsor offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the changing season at a gentler pace, whether that means a short riverside walk, lunch in town, browsing shops in Windsor or Eton, or taking in the scenery around the Castle and Great Park.
Windsor Great Park and The Long Walk
Autumn is a particularly good time to enjoy the landscapes around Windsor Great Park. The Long Walk runs from Windsor Castle towards the Copper Horse statue, offering views back towards the Castle and changing seasonal colour along the route.
There is no need to complete the whole route: even a shorter stretch can make for a lovely morning or afternoon out. Comfy shoes, suitable outerwear and a quick check of the weather will help make the visit more enjoyable.
