Born and bred in Windsor, Castle View CEO Robin Hughes is a man of very diverse passions and hobbies. And one of them is driving tractors!
It may seem hard to believe but we actually have a Castle View tractor.
On the 9th February, an historic event is taking place on the long walk in Windsor. In order to raise money for Thames Valley Hospice, the challenge is to sponsor 100 tractors to cruise down the famous long walk.
Too much of a tempting challenge for us - so Robin will be joining in and driving the Castle View tractor down the long walk for such a good cause to support the valuable service that Thames Valley Hopsice provide.
Come and join us and take a look at this most unusual spectacle!
Dr Kerr, Chairman of New Zealand’s most respected Retirement Village business with 34 villages in Australasia spent a few hours with Castle View CEO Robin Hughes and Village Manager Lisa Fisher looking at the building, meeting residents and discussing the sector over tea and biscuits in the Sky Lounge.
Regarded as one of New Zealand most respected GP's and an outstanding chairman guiding Rymans growth since 1994, Dr Kerr talked to Robin and Lisa abouts Rymans growth and their future plans.
According to Robin, "we were delighted to welcome Dr Kerr to Castle View. Rymans founder Kevin Hickman has been very helpful in the formative plans for Castle View so I was absolutely wrapped for Lisa and I to Show David around and introduce him to some residents and thank him and Ryman for offering our business such guidance in many aspects of Windsor". David was very taken with the set up and Castle View and I mentioned Ryman's scheme in Melbourne "Weary Dunlop" was a major inspiration for Castle View - albeit that Windsor is about 1/3 of the size."

To show their appreciation of all her hard work, the residents quietly clubbed together and as a surprise presented Caz with flowers and £100 of gift vouchers, to show her how much she is loved and a great appreciation for all her very very hard work!

Its pouring with rain outside, but it seems irrelevant as there is laughter inside. No cooking, no washing up, just a warm comforting Sunday lunch with good friends.
