A note from our Sales Manager – Ruth Wilson
Two things potential residents are always keen to ask me, what are the ages of the other residents and what is life really like at Castle View?
Let me dispel a few myths, we are not an old peoples home. We are private retirement apartments which just happen to have tremendous communal facilities.
Popular events include fish and chip Fridays, afternoon tea on Tuesdays, weekend happy hours and cocktail nights – with other events running periodically to help keep everyone entertained
Our residents are smart, intelligent, independent and social when they want to be. Want to see their ages ? Check out our photographs, they are all ‘real people’ we don’t use models because we are proud to show Castle View off as it really is and they are proud to be associated with it. You only have to read a few of their testimonials to feel that.
The community at Castle View is growing and we listen to all requests for activities as well as suggesting some of our own!
Regular clubs - include Craft and Crochet , Chair Yoga , Gentle Yoga , Rummikub/Bridge.
Some examples of special events we organise are:
Book Chat – we invited Windsor Library to talk about book groups, bring the latest books and find out what you would like to read.
Residents’ Cocktail evening – Colin our barman makes up some very special Castle View cocktails in our Sky Lounge
Windsor & Eton Brewery has been invited to bring a selection of Windsor’s most popular local beers and talk about the brewery process, offer tasters and answer any questions
Castle View Summer Party on the Roof Terrace - We will be hosting our first summer party on the roof terrace which will be open for all residents and their guests as well as friends and acquaintances of Castle View.
Castle View Gin Club - a presentation of a new selection of gins and mixing ideas as well as interesting information on the distilling and the history of gin.
